You DEFINITELY need F’ You Money

Yes - That’s Fuck You Money

I’m a firm believer that everyone should be saving “F’ You Money.” ⠀

Enough money, that if you go into work one day and can’t take it anymore, you can tell your boss, “F’ You” and walk out. (Not the best strategy, but we’ve all been there, right?)⠀

Enough money that if you get laid off or fired with no notice, you aren’t worried and scared about what comes next.⠀

You already know what I would do if I started spending my F’ You money (travel the world), but what would you do? ⠀

If you had enough saved up that you didn’t have to work for anyone else, what would you do? Retire? Start a business? Move to a cabin in the mountains and write a best-selling novel? Keep working in the same job?⠀

What if you didn’t have to be mad to use the money. Come up with a plan to start saving now, and you can be living your best life on your own terms before you even know it. It might take a few years, but the years are gonna pass anyway, so you might as well be planning for your future while you’re doing it.

My two-step process for saving fuck you money (yes, this is the easy method I used to retire at 39):

  1. Track all your spending and see where you are spending your money.

  2. Cut all spending that is not mandatory (like housing) and doesn’t feed the future you want.

Yes, it sounds really simple, and it can be, you don’t have to complicate it with ten-step methods and fancy forms. This two-step plan will take you a long way, ESPECIALLY if you start today.
